My daughter and I found what we thought was the perfect dress here. We went in a week later for the alterations and spotted a different dress in the window. This second dress was indeed THE dress. It fit her vision so perfectly. The alterations were done quickly. Pricing was great for both the dress and the alterations. Everyone was so friendly and kind, even with us changing our minds at the last minute.

I cannot recommend The Formal Niche enough! My daughter recently graduated, and while she had already purchased her dress, it just didn't fit quite right. Knowing that The Formal Niche offers alteration services, I had her take the dress in to be taken in just a little. They completed the alterations quickly and at a very reasonable price, and the dress fit beautifully afterward. Then came another challenge. At my daughter's Senior Farewell at her elementary school, the first time she wore the dress, the original zipper (which honestly wasn't the best quality) became completely stuck. We couldn't get the dress off without breaking the zipper, and graduation was only a week away! Needless to say, we were so panicked! I contacted the owner, Courtney, explained the situation, and was immediately reassured with, "No worries, we've got you!" We dropped the dress off the very next morning, and once again, The Formal Niche came through with a quick turnaround and an extremely reasonable fee. Not only was the zipper repaired, but the dress came back in even better condition than when we originally bought it!! My daughter looked absolutely radiant at graduation, and thanks to The Formal Niche, she'll be able to enjoy and wear this dress for many more occasions. If you didn't know, now you do, The Formal Niche offers alteration services, and they are exceptional!!! Their customer service, quality work, quick turnaround times, and affordable pricing are second to none. Highly, highly recommend!

Let me start out by saying the staff is incredible! This was the 5th shop we tried for my daughter's event. While we did not find a dress here either, it was not because of lack of inventory optiond or prices- they just simply didn't have a very specific dress. They are well organized by color and sizes. Gowns are preowned- with fair prices. We did not know they were a used boutique but it wasn't relevant either way, as all gowns were clean and appeared like new. Dressing rooms were great. We were lucky enough to witness an experience a young soon- to be bride- was having and the staff treating here with so much care and attention - there is no doubt this will now be our first stop for our daughters events in the future. A great place for prom or wedding shopping with a staff that makes it an enjoyable adventure 😊

My daughter-in-law and I came here with a pretty tight budget. We were looking for something that didn’t need much altering but still felt luxurious. We were given a private area and adorable signs to give our opinion. We tried tons of dresses and were never rushed. Courtney pulled one last dress and it was EVERYTHING the bride was looking for. We added some Stevie sleeves and a cathedral veil. We all (including the staff) held back tears. We had the perfect dress at the perfect price, alterations were affordable and quick. (We had just about two weeks before the wedding) this was the best experience! I highly recommend this place, if you want the royal treatment on a budget!

Went in today for a wedding dress appointment and had the best experience with Aubrey! Going in nervous, unsure what to expect with looking for a plus size dress and walked out to saying I had found the PERFECT dress for me! She was sweet and I didn’t feel pressured or rushed! Will recommend 100%
